Dr. Deep Shah

Dr. Deep Shah is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with sub-speciality training in Glaucoma. He specializes in the surgical management of glaucoma disorders including Primary Glaucoma, Secondary Glaucoma and Congenital Glaucoma. He also specializes in medical management of Open angle Glaucoma and Angle closure Glaucoma. He is also an experienced cataract surgeon and can manage complex cataract surgery. Dr. Shah obtained his medical degree from M.S. university, Vadodara. He did his Ophthalmology post graduation training from Dr. Thakorbhai V Patel Eye Institute, Vadodara. He then received training in Phacoemulsification surgery at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai followed by which he undertook Glaucoma and fellowship training for 2 years and phacorefractive long term. He has performed around 100 glaucoma surgeries and 200 phaco refrarive surgeries. Dr Shah has an interest in research and teaching. He has published research papers and has delivered scientific presentations in various conferences.
