Pathology Department

The Pathology Department is the hospital’s diagnostic engine, transforming patient specimens—blood, tissues, swabs—into vital data that guide diagnosis and treatment. It comprises Surgical Pathology (biopsy and cytology analysis), Clinical Pathology (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, transfusion), and Molecular Pathology (genetic and PCR-based assays). Specimens are accessioned, processed on automated analyzers or manually prepared slides, interpreted by technologists and board-certified pathologists, and reported with rapid turnaround times.
